Clinical Research Fellow, Cambridge

Clinical Research Fellow Cambridge

Deadline: 22nd May 2017

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the group led by Prof Peter Hutchinson. You will be expected to work closely with the co-ordinator of the RESCUE-ASDH trial and roll out a number of sub-studies on craniectomy (intracranial pressure, autoregulation, neurochemistry, advanced imaging) in conjunction with other members (clinicians and scientists) of this well established group.

Applicants must be medically qualified, registered with the GMC and should have completed core neurosurgical training (or equivalent). A strong interest in research and academic neurosurgery is essential.

If you are successful, you will be expected to register for a PhD and you will be encouraged to participate in the junior neurosurgical registrar on-call rota (Addenbrooke’s Hospital).

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 12 months in the first instance.

This appointment requires GMC Registration and an Honorary Clinical Contract.
